Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Nights | 3×12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
• Adhere to holiday scheduling expectations — travelers are expected to work major holidays that fall within their assignment period, per facility policy
• Complete all required orientation modules, which vary by specialty and are recorded via transcripts
• Maintain full compliance with all onboarding requirements to ensure an on-time start

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure — Georgia RN license or Compact license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
• All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission — no schedule changes or RTO requests will be accepted post-offer or on-site, including during orientation week
• Maximum of 7 days RTO per contract
• All compliance documents must be submitted by the Tuesday prior to the start date; core onboarding items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience preferred, though first-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Experience with high-acuity emergency department patient populations
• Strong adaptability and ability to integrate quickly into a new clinical environment
