Per Diem | Contract (26 Weeks) | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a critical care / ICU setting
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and implement individualized care plans for critically ill patients
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition, escalating care as appropriate
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient information and clinical findings within the facility’s EMR system
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in the state of California
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- ICU / Critical Care nursing experience required
- Availability to work a minimum of 3 shifts per week
- Weekend availability required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Meditech EMR experience strongly preferred; candidates with Meditech experience will be given priority consideration
- Candidates without Meditech experience may have access to a facility-sponsored orientation/training class, subject to availability
