Job Title

Travel Cath Lab Tech – Cardiac Cath Lab

Location

Augusta, GA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM with On-Call Requirements | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and assist with cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology (EP) procedures in a high-volume Cath Lab setting
• Operate and monitor specialized equipment including GE systems and MacLab
• Assist with advanced procedures including IABP, Impella, temporary pacemaker placement, and moderate sedation
• Document patient care and procedural data accurately using the Meditech documentation system
• Collaborate with RN and RCIS-credentialed staff to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Fulfill on-call responsibilities in addition to scheduled day shifts

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure and/or RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) credential required
• Minimum of 2 years of Cath Lab experience
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Hands-on experience with Cath/EP procedures, IABP, Impella, temporary pacemaker, and moderate sedation

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with GE imaging equipment and MacLab hemodynamic recording systems
• Experience with Meditech electronic documentation
• Prior travel assignment experience in a Cath Lab or interventional cardiology setting
