Job Title

Desktop Support Technician I – IT

Location

Kansas City, KS

Schedule / Job Type

Contract (Temp-to-Perm) | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM | Monday–Friday | Expected 2 weekends per month | Holiday rotation as scheduled

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on desktop support including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and upgrading of computer equipment
• Document service tickets accurately and work within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Deliver basic technical training and guidance to end users as needed
• Support day-to-day IT operations within a fast-paced environment
• Participate in new employee orientation and customer service training during onboarding week

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Microsoft Windows Certification required, or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of placement
• 1–3 years of IT experience, OR an Associate’s degree in Computer Systems or a related field (new graduates with qualifying degree considered)
• Candidates without a degree must have a minimum of one year of relevant experience
• Must be able to work in a nicotine-free facility

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous desktop support experience in a professional setting
• Demonstrated experience maintaining, troubleshooting, installing, configuring, and upgrading computer hardware and software
• Experience documenting service tickets and adhering to SLA requirements
• Experience providing basic technical training or end-user support
