Job Title

Mammography Technologist

Location

Omaha, NE | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Full-Time | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM | No required evenings or weekends | 5×8-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Perform screening and diagnostic mammography examinations
• Conduct stereotactic biopsies, needle localizations, and fine needle aspirations
• Operate digital and 3D mammography equipment, including Hologic 3D machines
• Document patient care and imaging records using Epic charting system
• Adhere to all facility protocols, including a 100% nicotine-free facility policy
• Wear required red scrubs (true red, non-burgundy; branding not required)

Required Qualifications

• ARRT-M (Mammography) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Active Nebraska State License required — please note that Nebraska Allied licensing may take up to 8 weeks; proof of Nebraska state licensing application must be submitted prior to consideration
• Minimum 1 year of mammography experience required
• Experience with Hologic 3D mammography machines required
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Epic charting experience preferred
• Experience working in a high-volume or academic medical setting
