Contract | Days | 4×10-Hour Shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a main OR setting covering General, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, Robotics, Urology, Vascular, and Colorectal surgical specialties
• Both Circulating and Scrubbing experience are required — candidates must be proficient in both roles
• Operate within a 16-room OR environment with an average daily census of 35 patients, serving an adult to geriatric population
• Utilize facility systems including Epic, Pyxis, and two Da Vinci XI robotic platforms
• Fulfill call obligations, including approximately 7–8 call shifts per 8-week schedule; call shifts run either 7:00 PM–7:00 AM or 7:00 AM–7:00 PM, with 2–3 weekday night call shifts also expected per 8-week period
• Work 2–3 weekends per 8-week schedule (in-house or on call) and cover applicable major holidays falling within the assignment period

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of 1 year of OR nursing experience; first-time travelers are welcome
• Demonstrated experience in both circulating and scrubbing roles — this is a hard requirement
• Full compliance with all onboarding requirements must be completed by the Tuesday prior to the start date; delays may result in a two-week pushback due to bi-weekly orientation scheduling
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with robotic-assisted surgery, particularly Da Vinci XI platforms
• Familiarity with Epic EMR and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
• Experience across multiple surgical specialties including Neuro, Spine, or Vascular
