Contract | Days | 3×12-Hour Shifts (6:00–16:30) | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing cardiovascular surgical procedures in the OR setting
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes throughout all phases of cardiovascular surgery
• Accurately document patient care activities and clinical findings using Epic
• Adhere to facility compliance requirements, including timely completion of onboarding and orientation modules

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (State or Compact) — must be in hand at time of submittal; license hits not accepted
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience
• All requested time off must be disclosed at time of submittal
• Previous staff employees must wait 1 year before returning in a travel capacity
• Candidates residing in the following counties are not eligible for this assignment: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Level I experience preferred
• Familiarity with cardiovascular surgical protocols and sterile technique in a high-acuity OR environment
