Travel RN – Cardiac Cath Lab

Location

Houston, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 3-room Cath Lab suite performing Cardiac, IR, and Vascular procedures
• Assist with EP (Electrophysiology) cases as part of a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team
• Operate and work alongside state-of-the-art cardiovascular and radiological equipment
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills across a variety of procedures and patient populations, including critically ill patients
• Participate in on-call rotation, approximately 1–2 days per week and 1 weekend per month
• Collaborate effectively with team members, maintain composure under pressure, and apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Texas (or compact license eligibility)
• ACLS and BLS certifications required
• MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist) license required for RNs working with radiological equipment in a Texas Cardiac Cath Lab setting
• Minimum 1 year of relevant clinical experience
• Full COVID-19 vaccination required

  Preferred Experience / Skills

  • Prior experience in a Cath Lab, IR/Vascular Lab, or Radiology setting
  • Background in ICU, ER, or care of critically ill patients
  • RN Critical Care or Trauma certification
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of personalities and adapt to a fast-paced procedural environment
