Job Title

Outreach Phlebotomy Technician

Location

Belmont, MA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Full-Time | Onsite | Days | Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM | Weekend and holiday rotation as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain established department policies and procedures, including safety, environmental, and infection control standards
• Process a variety of specimens in accordance with established protocols
• Perform data entry into hospital and laboratory information systems, including EPIC EMR
• Monitor laboratory test requests that have not been processed through the laboratory information system
• Perform quality assurance checks on outpatient requisitions to ensure accuracy of data entry

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1–2 years of phlebotomy experience
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) credential required
• Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License required
• Reliable personal transportation required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working with adult and adolescent medical patient populations
• Prior experience with EPIC EMR charting system
• Familiarity with outreach or outpatient phlebotomy settings
