Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Green Cove Springs, FL | Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Monday – Friday, Days (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy assistant services to patients within a long-term acute care hospital setting
• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist
• Document patient progress and clinical notes using facility EMR systems (Protouch / Net Health)
• Adhere to facility dress code and departmental protocols
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support patient recovery goals

Required Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care environment
• Compliance with facility scrub color requirements (Navy Blue)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a long-term acute care hospital (LTACH) setting
• Familiarity with Protouch and/or Net Health EMR platforms
• Travel therapy assignment experience
