Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3×12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | Monday through Friday with every other weekend and some holidays required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an IMC Acute Medical/Progressive Care unit and an IMC Thoracic unit
• Monitor and interpret telemetry rhythms, including identification of lethal arrhythmias and heart blocks
• Care for oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown patient populations
• Manage patients requiring ventilator support and transplant care
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
• Pass a Telemetry exam (Adult and Pediatric) prior to start, with a minimum score of 80% and 100% identification of lethal rhythms

Required Qualifications

• Active Wisconsin RN license or compact RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the specialty being applied to
• Telemetry oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required
• Ventilator and transplant experience required
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a Magnet-designated or academic medical center environment
• Familiarity with thoracic patient populations
• Strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills across both adult and pediatric populations
