Special Procedures Technologist – Vascular Interventional Radiology (Travel)

Contract | 13 Weeks | Full-Time | Days | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Vascular Interventional Radiology and special procedures in a hybrid operating room environment
• Operate Philips Allura X-ray systems across two hybrid procedure rooms to support vascular surgery services
• Apply knowledge of radiation safety protocols and proper equipment handling throughout all procedures
• Collaborate with the OR team to maintain efficient workflow and high-quality patient care
• Document and manage patient information using the EPIC electronic health record system
• Maintain compliance with all applicable facility dress code and OR entry requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active RT(R)(VI) – Vascular Interventional Radiologic Technology certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Demonstrated knowledge of Vascular OR procedures, equipment, and radiation safety
• Completion of all required Pennsylvania state clearances prior to start, including: Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance, Department of Human Services Fingerprinting, FBI Department of Aging Fingerprinting, and PA State Police (PATCH) Clearance — all fingerprints must be submitted and uploaded before candidate can be cleared
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel position

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Vascular Interventional Radiology or a related special procedures setting
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system
• Experience working within a Level 1 Trauma Center or high-acuity hospital environment
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced OR setting
