Job Title

Travel Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) – Freestanding Emergency Department

Location

Ogden, UT | Freestanding Emergency Department

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks (extension to 26 weeks may be available) | Thursday–Saturday | 5:00 PM – 5:00 AM | Night Shift

Key Responsibilities

• Perform Point of Care (POC) testing within the freestanding emergency department lab setting
• Operate as a fully licensed Medical Laboratory Scientist supporting ER lab operations
• Perform clerical duties as assigned by nursing and lab leadership in support of freestanding ED operations
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow established laboratory protocols and quality standards

Required Qualifications

• ASCP certification as MLS, CLS, or Medical Technologist — full license required; associate-level credentials are not accepted
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Laboratory Scientist or equivalent
• Ability to work Thursday through Saturday night shifts (5:00 PM – 5:00 AM)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Point of Care (POC) testing knowledge and experience
• Prior experience in an emergency department or fast-paced acute care lab environment
