Job Title

Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN)

Location

Salem, MA | Inpatient

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | Every Other Weekend | 36 or 48 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult medical patients on a 24-bed private room inpatient medical telemetry unit
• Read and interpret cardiac telemetry strips as a core function of the role
• Manage a patient assignment of 4–5 patients per RN
• Document patient care and assessments using EPIC EMR
• Float to other units as needed
• Rotate shifts as needed to cover open night shifts, with a couple of day shifts per month

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN License
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 3 years of experience in one location, or 2 years of experience as a travel nurse
• Demonstrated ability to read and interpret cardiac telemetry strips

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with EPIC charting system
• Background in medical/surgical telemetry nursing
• Comfort with floating and rotating shift assignments
