Registered Nurse – Operating Room

Contract | Days | 4×10-Hour Shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care across multiple service lines including Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, Orthopedics, Bariatrics, Urology, ENT, Oral, Plastics, and Ophthalmology
• Perform scrub and/or circulating duties as required within scope of practice
• Float within the facility and to outpatient settings as needed
• Participate in variable weekend and on-call assignments as determined by unit needs
• Complete all required orientation modules and maintain full compliance with onboarding requirements

Required Qualifications

• Active Georgia RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum of 4 years of Operating Room experience prior to travel
• Required specialty experience: Neurology, Transplant, General Surgery, GYN, and Orthopedics
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• All requested time off (RTO) must be finalized at time of submission — no RTO or schedule requests will be accepted post-offer or onsite; no RTO may be requested during orientation week
• Maximum of 7 days RTO per contract; holiday blackout periods apply (11/23–11/29 and 12/21–1/3)
• Local candidates are welcome and accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience across multiple OR service lines including Bariatrics, Urology, ENT, Plastics, or Ophthalmology
• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-acuity or multi-specialty operating room environment
• Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to new environments and facility-specific protocols
