Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical / Telemetry

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a rapid admission unit serving general medical and pre-surgical patients
• Manage a patient ratio of 5:1 in a fast-paced, high-turnover environment
• Communicate clearly and effectively with interdisciplinary team members and patients
• Work independently to assess, prioritize, and coordinate care for an actively rotating patient census
• Maintain BLS and ACLS certifications as required for patient safety and unit compliance

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be verified through Nursys
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry nursing
• Ability to work independently in a rapid admission setting
• Resume/work history with no employment gaps greater than 60 days

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a high-volume or rapid-turnover admission unit
• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with telemetry monitoring and interpretation
