Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Contract (17 Weeks) | Days | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Provide direct patient care to support functional independence and rehabilitation goals
• Document patient progress accurately and in a timely manner in accordance with facility standards
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient outcomes
• Maintain COTA licensure compliance and adhere to applicable state and professional practice standards

Required Qualifications

• Active COTA certification (NBCOT) required
• Active California state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant required
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekdays and weekends
• Expected 35 hours per week throughout the duration of the contract

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a contract or travel therapy setting
• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and patient populations
