Job Title

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (5C Nights)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide progressive cardiac care within a 28-bed IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit
• Care for a diverse patient population including medical, cardiac, pre/post cardiovascular surgery, arrhythmia, heart failure, and stroke overflow patients
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:4–5 in alignment with unit standards
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, responding promptly to changes in clinical status
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or a compact state license
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience in an IMC, PCU, Stepdown, or progressive cardiac care setting
• Ability to manage a patient assignment of 4–5 patients per shift

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for pre/post cardiovascular surgery patients
• Familiarity with arrhythmia monitoring and heart failure management
• Prior experience with stroke overflow patient populations
