Job Title

RN – Acute Care Cardiac Telemetry (3 South, Day Shift)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Acute Care Cardiac Telemetry unit for patients with significant cardiac disease histories or related conditions
• Support unit stabilization efforts by maintaining consistent, high-quality nursing care during an active staffing rebuild period
• Assist with precepting and orienting new hire RNs, including RN Residents, as the unit recruits to fill core positions
• Float as needed to one of five acute care med/surg units, typically operating at a 5:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Demonstrate a high degree of engagement, professionalism, and willingness to mentor and train others

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Cardiac-trained RN with telemetry experience
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to precept or train other nursing staff
• Ability to float to acute care med/surg units as needed

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a cardiovascular or cardiac telemetry unit setting
• Experience precepting or mentoring new graduate or early-career RNs
• Comfort working in a dynamic, evolving unit environment undergoing staffing restructure
