CT Scan Technologist

Location

Charleston, SC | Teaching Hospital / Level 1 Trauma Center

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4×10-Hour Shifts (Tuesday–Friday, 10:00 AM–8:30 PM) | On-Site

Key Responsibilities

• Perform CT scan procedures with a variable daily caseload based on shift and location needs
• Participate in on-call rotation as required
• Float within scope to meet facility needs, including sister facility locations
• Attend all required staff meetings
• Participate in holiday rotation as scheduled
• Maintain and supply a personal radiation badge — the facility does not provide radiation badges to contract staff

Required Qualifications

• Active ARRT RT(R)(CT) certification required
• Active SCRQSA RT(R)(CT) licensure required — must be in hand at time of start; pending licensure not accepted
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 6 months of Level 1 Trauma experience required
• Peripheral IV (PIV) competency required
• Candidate must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible; locals may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• Previous permanent or PRN staff must have been separated from the facility system for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience preferred
• Siemens scanner experience preferred
• Experience with Epic charting system
