Job Title

CT Scan Computed Tomography Technologist

Location

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Monday–Friday, 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Key Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients’ bones, organs, and tissue for diagnostic purposes
• Perform a variety of imaging procedures including general radiography and fluoroscopy
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric
• Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation and utilize PACS and teleradiology systems to transfer images appropriately
• Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information while adhering to HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory

Required Qualifications

• R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT) certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists: Required
• Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in California: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• Fluoroscopy license in California: Required if operating fluoroscopy equipment
• Venipuncture certification in California: Required if performing venipuncture to administer contrast materials
• Minimum of two years of recent experience in the CT field

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology
• Advanced certification in CT modality (preferred in California)
• Experience with PACS and teleradiology systems
