Travel Respiratory Therapist – Pediatric Emergency Room

Location

Dallas, TX | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapy services within a 15-bed Pediatric Emergency Department
• Perform bronchiolitic scoring assessments for pediatric patients
• Manage and respond to respiratory arrest situations
• Administer and monitor noninvasive ventilation
• Administer and manage invasive ventilation as required
• Float to other pediatric spaces within the facility as needed

Required Qualifications

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist
• Pediatric experience required
• Critical care experience required
• Proficiency with Meditech EMR

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Pediatric Emergency Department setting
• Combined background in both pediatric and critical care respiratory therapy
