Job Title

Medical/Surgical Telemetry Registered Nurse

Location

Salem, MA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 36 Hours per Week | Night Shift | Every Other Weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Medical Cardiology unit
• Interpret telemetry strips and monitor cardiac rhythms
• Perform and manage cardiac drips
• Deliver post-catheterization care including PCI, ICD, PPM, and Ablation procedures
• Manage TR Band and femoral approach post-procedural care
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:6 on night shift

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN License required
• AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience with a strong cardiac background
• Demonstrated ability to interpret telemetry strips and perform cardiac drips
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a travel nurse

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with post-cath care including PCI, ICD, PPM, and cardiac ablation
• Familiarity with TR Band management and femoral approach care
• Strong telemetry and cardiology clinical background
