RN – Acute Care Cardiac Telemetry (3 South Nights)

Long Term Assignment | Mid-Night Shift | Contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 30-bed Acute Care Cardiac Telemetry unit
• Manage and monitor patients with significant cardiac disease history or related conditions
• Support unit stabilization efforts on a Cardiovascular Telemetry floor
• Assist with precepting and orienting new hire RNs, including RN Residents, as needed
• Float to Med/Surg as needed to support broader unit staffing needs

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Texas or compact equivalent
• Prior experience in cardiac telemetry or cardiovascular nursing
• Current BLS certification required
• Demonstrated ability and willingness to precept or train other nursing staff
• High degree of professional engagement and adaptability

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience precepting new graduate RNs or RN Residents
• Background in Med/Surg in addition to cardiac telemetry
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills suited for a rebuilding unit environment
