Registered Nurse – Medical Surgical

Contract | Onsite | Nights (3×12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across a Medical Surgical unit serving an adolescent to geriatric population
• Monitor patients using remote telemetry and manage a variety of medical surgical diagnosesutilize Epic, Pyxis, and SBAR communication frameworks to document and coordinate care
• Maintain a patient assignment ratio of 1:6 within a 38-bed unit averaging a daily census of 33
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as operationally needed
• Adhere to holiday and weekend scheduling requirements, including every-other-weekend rotation

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Georgia or a valid Compact nursing license
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (first-time travelers accepted)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with Epic (required), Pyxis, and SBAR
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements must be completed prior to start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical setting with telemetry monitoring
• Familiarity with caring for a broad patient population ranging from adolescents to geriatrics
