Job Title

RN – Cardiac Cath Lab (Per Diem)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to adult and geriatric patient populations, addressing psychosocial, physical, and general aspects of care within the cardiovascular lab environment
• Communicate continuously with physicians regarding patient condition throughout procedures
• Monitor, assess, and record physiologic and hemodynamic data related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic cardiovascular procedures
• Assess procedure room and equipment functioning and readiness; obtain supplies for individual cases to ensure all team needs are met
• Assist with maintenance of equipment and inventory within the Cardiovascular Laboratory
• Participate in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement activities

Required Qualifications

• Active state Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Current BLS (AHA) certification required upon hire and must be maintained
• Current ACLS certification required upon hire and must be maintained
• Minimum of one (1) year of clinical experience in a Cardiovascular Lab performing cardiac work, or in a Critical Care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Prior experience specifically within a Cardiac Cath Lab or Electrophysiology (EP) environment
