Job Title

Registered Nurse (RN) – Mother Baby / Postpartum

Key Responsibilities

• Provide couplet care for mother and newborn in a postpartum setting
• Perform and assist with hysterectomy-related postpartum care as needed
• Maintain a 1:2 patient ratio in alignment with unit standards
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotation as scheduled
• Float to Labor and Delivery or serve as a sitter task RN to other units as needed
• Participate in voluntary on-call availability as applicable

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of recent Mother Baby / Postpartum experience within the last 2 years
• Advanced NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• BLS certification required
• Experience in a Level III Trauma facility
• Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience floating to Labor and Delivery
• Comfort working in a high-acuity, fast-paced hospital environment
• Flexibility with scheduling, including on-call and holiday shifts
