Key Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards
• Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self or others under their direction
• Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess data and plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients
• Provide perioperative nursing care within the Operating Room setting, including support across surgical service lines such as GYN, bariatrics, vascular, orthopedics, neurology, and plastics
• Adhere to facility scheduling requirements without restrictions

Required Qualifications

• Active Maryland RN license (verification must be less than 30 days old)
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
• Minimum 2+ years of recent General OR experience required
• Experience in GYN, bariatrics, vascular, orthopedics, neurology, and plastics required
• COVID-19 vaccination required — declinations not accepted; must be state recorded
• Must be willing to work the facility’s schedule without scheduling restrictions
• Local candidates are welcome; no radius rule applies

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Familiarity with compliance-intensive onboarding processes and ability to complete requirements within 48 hours if offered a position
