Job Title

RN – CVOR (Registered Nurse, Cardiovascular Operating Room)

Contract | Days | Onsite | 24/7 in-house coverage with rotating call requirements (weeknight, weekend, and holiday call required; 30-minute call response time expected)

Key Responsibilities

• Circulate in a high-acuity, fast-paced CVOR environment supporting a 12-suite OR performing approximately 20 cases per day
• Assist with a broad range of complex cardiovascular and thoracic procedures including CABG, MVR, AVR, kidney transplant, robotics (thoracic and cardiac), peripheral vascular, thoracic, aortic repair, vascular access, hybrid procedures (TEVAR/EVAR, TAVR), Impella, IABP, and ECMO
• Collaborate effectively with a large surgical team of approximately 25 surgeons, applying broad CVOR knowledge across varied surgical preferences and techniques
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Participate in mandatory call coverage including weeknights, weekends, and holidays with an expected 30-minute response time

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (Registered Nurse)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 3 years of CVOR circulating experience
• Ability to work in a high-acuity, nationally recognized cardiovascular and thoracic surgical program
• Willingness and availability to take weeknight, weekend, and holiday call with a 30-minute response time

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrub experience in a CVOR setting (scrubbing is not required but is preferred)
• Familiarity with Epic EMR
• Experience working with a high volume and diverse surgical team across multiple specialties and surgeon preferences
