Key Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiographic studies across the complete spectrum of diagnoses including fetal congenital (22+ weeks), pediatric heart disease, and adult congenital echocardiography
• Provide coverage across NICU, PICU, and Cardiac ICU settings
• Assist with bedside ECMO weans and catheter placement
• Recognize and triage emergent situations in a timely and appropriate manner
• Provide written communication of findings to cardiologists and maintain accurate procedure logs for billing purposes
• Perform routine maintenance and upkeep of sonography equipment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in pediatric sonography
• Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience with ECMO procedures
• Extensive understanding of congenital and non-congenital forms of heart disease
• BLS certification required
• ARDMS registration required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Registry in Pediatric Echocardiography strongly preferred
• Experience with fetal echocardiography encouraged
• Adult echocardiography experience is a plus
• Familiarity with Epic EMR, Fuji PACS, and/or CV Synapse
