Key Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional needs to develop personalized treatment plans
• Implement therapeutic activities aimed at improving, recovering, or maintaining skills needed for daily living and working
• Recommend and instruct patients on the use of assistive devices and adaptive equipment
• Adapt patient environments to support greater independence and well-being
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families throughout the rehabilitation process

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy experience required
• Active Texas OT license or compact state license required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a long term care or skilled nursing facility setting
• Familiarity with developing goal-oriented, individualized care plans
