Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization
• Implement and monitor patient care plans, recording and communicating patient condition as appropriate
• Serve as a primary coordinator across all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Apply critical thinking skills and decisive judgment while working with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, stressful environment

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Texas or compact eligibility
• Telemetry experience required
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a stressful clinical environment
• Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Med Surg Telemetry setting
• Familiarity with discharge planning coordination and multi-disciplinary care teams
• Experience monitoring and interpreting telemetry readings
