Job Title

Travel RN – Medical Surgical (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Projected Start: September 14, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical-Surgical unit with a patient ratio of 5–6:1
• Utilize general Med-Surg equipment and document patient information using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Collaborate with a team including PCTs and unit support staff to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
• Adhere to scheduling requirements, including 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
• Float within facility Med-Surg units as needed per floating policy
• Maintain patient experience standards in alignment with facility expectations

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for the state of Tennessee (or compact eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
• Strong teamwork and compassionate patient care approach
• Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Navy scrubs required as unit dress code

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation systems
• Experience working in a newly established or rapidly growing hospital unit
