Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Labor and Delivery/Perinatal setting
• Monitor maternal and fetal status throughout labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods
• Utilize Intermediate Fetal Monitoring skills to assess and respond to fetal well-being
• Perform neonatal resuscitation as needed in accordance with AAP guidelines
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams in a high-volume delivery service environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas
• BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP)
• Advanced Life Support (ALS) certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Intermediate Fetal Monitoring Certification
• Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery/Perinatal experience in a high-volume delivery service
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing from an accredited school or college of nursing

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3–5 years of Perinatal clinical experience in a high-volume delivery service
• S.T.A.B.L.E Program certification
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Advanced Fetal Monitoring Certification
