Registered Nurse – Rehabilitation (Travel)

Jacksonville, FL | Inpatient Acute Rehabilitation

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM | Expected 36 hours/week | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in an inpatient acute rehabilitation setting, including those recovering from stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, neurological conditions, trauma, and orthopedic injury
• Deliver individualized, patient-centered rehabilitation nursing throughout each patient’s recovery journey
• Maintain a patient ratio of 1:8, ensuring safe and effective care across assigned caseload
• Document patient care and progress accurately using Cerner EHR
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to maximize patient health, function, and quality of life
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care team members in both verbal and written English

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of rehabilitation nursing experience
• Basic computer knowledge and proficiency
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills
• Cooperative, team-oriented work approach

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
• Familiarity with inpatient rehabilitation patient populations and care protocols
• Experience working in a structured, interdisciplinary rehabilitation environment
