Travel CVOR Certified Surgical Technologist (CST)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Weekday, weekend, and holiday call required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide surgical technologist support within a 2-suite Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) environment
• Assist with cardiovascular procedures including CABG, Thoracotomy, Endo AAA, Valve Replacement, and Pacemaker implantation
• Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio, ensuring patient safety and procedural efficiency throughout all cases
• Document and manage patient information using the Meditech EMR system
• Float to the general OR as needed based on unit demands
• Participate in weekday, weekend, and holiday on-call rotation as required

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
• CVOR experience required — candidates without this will not be considered
• Active BLS certification required
• Active ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of surgical technologist experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Scrubbing experience in a cardiovascular or OR setting
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR
• Flexible, self-motivated, and knowledgeable team player who can adapt quickly to a fast-paced surgical environment
