Operating Room RN – Travel Contract (Day/Night Rotation)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide perioperative nursing care within a high-volume operating room environment
• Rotate between day and night shifts, including weekend assignments
• Adapt to variable shift structures: when scheduled for weekends (12-hour shifts), the remaining weekday shifts within that week will be adjusted to 8 or 10 hours to meet contracted weekly hours
• Participate in on-call responsibilities as required by the department
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in the state of Massachusetts (or compact eligibility)
• Level I Trauma experience required
• Operating Room specialty experience
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts, including weekends and call
• Flexibility to work either a 4×10 or 4×12 shift structure depending on scheduling needs

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a high-acuity or academic medical center setting
• Experience with a broad range of surgical specialties
• Strong adaptability to variable scheduling and shift lengths
