Job Title

Travel RN – Labor and Delivery

Location

Anchorage, AK | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an LDRP unit supporting induction of labor, vaginal delivery, antepartum monitoring, and labor triage
• Serve as OR circulator for procedures including C-sections, tubal ligation, D&C, and vaginal repair
• Perform newborn resuscitation and attend deliveries for low-risk newborns
• Operate GE Centricity Perinatal equipment and document care using EPIC EMR
• Follow AWHONN acuity-based staffing and patient care ratios
• Float to patient care tech role during low census periods as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery experience
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Labor triage experience (QMP)
• OR circulator experience (C-section, tubal ligation, D&C, vaginal repair)
• Newborn resuscitation experience
• BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with IUPC and FSE placement
• Experience assisting with JADA, Cook’s balloon, or Bakri balloon placement
• Familiarity with procedures such as NST, IUFD management, steroid injections (BMZ), and external cephalic version
