Job Title

Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Location

Chattanooga, TN | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department with 19 beds plus a 4-bed psychiatric pod, maintaining a 4:1 patient ratio
• Utilize strong sepsis and stroke assessment and intervention skillsets in a chest pain and stroke certified facility
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Operate unit equipment including Hillrom, Stryker, GE, and LifePak defibrillators
• Float as needed to the psychiatric pod or to other system Emergency Departments within the network

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license (applicable to state of practice)
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification required
• CPI certification required
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a chest pain or stroke certified facility
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
• Experience with psychiatric patient populations or tele-psych environments
