Registered Nurse – Telemetry (Per Diem)

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation within a Telemetry Unit
• Provide direct patient care within the full scope of RN practice
• Monitor patients via cardiac telemetry and communicate changes in clinical condition, diagnostic results, and symptomatology to the treating physician
• Respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition and/or response to treatment
• Direct and guide patient and family teaching as well as the activities of other nursing personnel
• Maintain established standards of care and remain directly accountable for the care provided to assigned patients

Required Qualifications

• Current and valid state RN license
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required
• EPIC EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Ventilator management experience
• COVID vaccination and booster(s)
