Job Title

Travel Occupational Therapist

Contract | 26-Week Assignment | Days | 4×10-hour shifts, rotating schedule including weekends | 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy services within an inpatient acute care setting on a dedicated rehabilitation services unit
• Manage a caseload of approximately 8–10 patients per day, delivering evaluations and individualized treatment plans
• Document patient care and progress using EPIC EMR
• Participate in a heavy weekend rotation, expected 2–3 weekends per month (Saturdays and Sundays)
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary therapy team including PTs, OTs, SLPs, PTAs, and COTAs

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Acute care experience is required — candidates without this will not be considered
• Alaska state fingerprint clearance and state background check must be cleared or in provisional status prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in a large inpatient hospital environment
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records system
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
