Job Title

Travel RN – Labor & Delivery

Location

Asheville, NC | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 16-bed Labor and Delivery unit, maintaining patient ratios of 1:1 or 1:2
• Manage vaginal deliveries, Cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-Hyst procedures
• Perform immediate newborn care and support high-risk obstetric patients
• Operate Baxter Pumps and Phillips electronic fetal monitoring equipment; document in Cerner and Fetal Ink EMR
• Collaborate with charge nurses, PCTs, CSTs, and interdisciplinary team members on the night shift
• Float to MFMU, MOMB, or NICU as needed per unit guidelines

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license valid in North Carolina (or Compact eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience
• High-risk obstetric experience required
• Immediate newborn care experience required
• Required certifications: NRP, BLS/ALS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Circulating experience in the OR setting
• Outgoing, friendly, and adaptable personality well-suited for a fast-paced L&D environment
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR and Fetal Ink documentation systems
