Job Title

Pediatric CVICU Registered Nurse

Location

Indianapolis, IN | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Nights | Expected 36 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care for pediatric cardiac patients in a newly established CVICU environment
• Support patients both pre- and post-operatively following cardiac surgical procedures
• Maintain scheduling flexibility to accommodate surgical case demands, including every other weekend and holidays
• Participate in on-call availability as required by unit needs
• Float to PICU, general Pediatrics, and NICU as needed

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or compact state eligibility
• Prior experience in a CVICU or cardiovascular/pediatric critical care setting
• Ability to work nights, every other weekend, and holidays
• Willingness to be on call and float to related pediatric units

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience in a pediatric or neonatal intensive care environment (PICU or NICU)
• Familiarity with pre- and post-operative cardiac surgical patient management in a pediatric population
• Comfort working in a newly developed or evolving specialty unit
