Job Title

Travel RN – Medical/Surgical Ortho/Spine (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Projected Start: August 3, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a 26-bed Ortho/Spine unit with a 6:1 patient ratio
• Care for patients undergoing knee and hip replacements as well as multi-level spine surgeries
• Operate and monitor unit-specific equipment including coolers, walkers, SCDs, and CPMs
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
• Collaborate with unit secretaries, PCTs, and navigators to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care
• Adhere to floating rotation policy and fulfill expected 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period

Required Qualifications

• Active RN License (must be valid in the state of Tennessee or through Compact licensure)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience
• Strong orthopaedic nursing background required
• Demonstrated compassion and ability to work effectively within a team
• Ability to meet a patient experience benchmark of 72% or above
• Navy scrubs required as unit dress code

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an ortho/spine inpatient setting
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
• Experience caring for post-surgical patients including total joint and spinal surgery populations
