Key Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans within the operating room setting
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition to appropriate members of the healthcare team
• Serve as a primary coordinator across disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team
• Follow Standard Precautions and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required

Required Qualifications

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required
• Ability to apply critical thinking skills and exercise decisive judgment in a surgical environment
• Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, stressful environment

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in an operating room or surgical setting
• Familiarity with established healthcare policies, procedures, and protocols
