Job Title

Travel RN – Postpartum / Mother Baby (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Projected Start: August 25, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide postpartum nursing care with expected patient ratios of 3–4 couplets per RN
• Perform POC glucose monitoring, hypertension assessment and management, and post-partum hemorrhage management
• Support breastfeeding education and assist with circumcision procedures
• Operate unit equipment including Welch Allyn vitals machines, CPN monitors, and POC glucose monitoring devices
• Document patient care using Meditech / CPN EMR
• Adhere to HCA ICARE standards of behavior in all patient and team interactions

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience; at least 1 year of current acute care postpartum hospital experience required
• BLS certification required
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification required
• Active RN license applicable to the state of Kansas

Preferred Experience / Skills

• High-risk postpartum experience
• Level 2 Nursery experience
• Positive, team-oriented attitude with a strong focus on patient care and ability to thrive in a high-volume environment
