Job Title

Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR Circulator)

Location

Augusta, GA | Acute Care

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Shifts | Various Shifts | On-call expected (approximately 3 on-call shifts per 4-week schedule)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform OR circulator duties within a multi-service operating room environment
• Provide direct patient care utilizing evidence-based nursing practices and strong critical thinking skills
• Respond to emergencies in a decisive, composed, and respectful manner within a fast-paced surgical setting
• Utilize electronic health record systems, including Epic, to support and document clinical care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary surgical teams while maintaining excellent customer service and communication standards
• Manage time effectively to support safe, high-quality patient outcomes across rotating schedules

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license – Single State or Compact (Multi-state) required
• BLS certification required upon hire (AHA, ARC, or Instructor level accepted)
• Completion of an accredited/approved school of nursing with requisite clinical hours (Associate, Diploma, or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing)
• Epic experience required
• Minimum of 2–3 years of experience as an OR Circulator in a multi-service operating room
• Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and customer service skills; ability to read, write, and speak English fluently

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred
• Prior experience with direct patient care in a surgical or acute care setting
• Proficiency with clinical technology and basic computer applications to support patient care workflows
