Registered Nurse – Oncology

Contract | Rotating 12-Hour Day/Night Shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to a complex medical oncology patient population
• Administer chemotherapy and monitor patients for side effects and adverse reactions
• Deliver high-level respiratory care including management of trachs, chest tubes, Airvo, CPAP, and BiPAP
• Interpret cardiac arrhythmias and respond appropriately to findings
• Rapidly identify and manage changing patient conditions while multitasking in critical situations
• Support patients and families through end-of-life care and hospice needs

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS certification required
• Demonstrated expertise in chemotherapy administration and side effect monitoring required
• Proficiency in cardiac arrhythmia interpretation
• Strong respiratory care skills including trachs, chest tubes, Airvo, CPAP, and BiPAP
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to manage complex patient populations

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Step-down unit experience highly preferred
• Prior experience with end-of-life care or hospice settings
• Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in high-acuity clinical environments
