Key Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.
• Implements and monitors patient care plans; records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Serves as a primary coordinator across all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders accurately and in a timely manner.
• Assesses and coordinates patient discharge planning needs in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Follows Standard Precautions and utilizes personal protective equipment as required.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in the state of Oklahoma or a compact state license
• Experience in telemetry or medical-surgical nursing
• Ability to apply critical thinking skills and exercise decisive judgment in a fast-paced, stressful environment
• Ability to work with minimal supervision while maintaining patient safety standards

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a telemetry or cardiac monitoring unit
• Familiarity with multi-disciplinary care coordination and discharge planning processes
• Experience working in an acute care hospital setting
