Job Title

Surgical Scrub Tech – Traveler

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Rotating weekends and holidays | On-call required | 4x10s or 3x12s considered | Shift hours 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM, with potential extension based on case load

Key Responsibilities

• Perform surgical scrub technician duties in a high-volume operating room environment
• Support a wide range of surgical cases including open heart procedures, orthopedic surgeries, and general medical surgeries
• Participate in on-call rotation: one night every two weeks and one weekend every six weeks
• Rotate through weekend and holiday coverage as required
• Utilize EPIC electronic health records system throughout all applicable workflows

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a busy operating room department
• EPIC experience required
• All mandatory compliance and agency requirements must be met prior to placement
• Must be available for on-call shifts as part of the standard OR agency requirement
• Ability to work extended hours based on case load demands

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience scrubbing open heart and complex cardiovascular cases
• Familiarity with orthopedic and multi-specialty surgical procedures
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, high-acuity OR environment
